Is your International School still holding on to your debenture?

This interesting article from the SCMP last week reveals the Education Bureau (EDB) is requiring international schools to report to them on their unauthorised charges (which includes all debentures) by 15 July. Make sure you tell the EDB your point of view by then!

You can make a complaint to the EDB simply by sending them an email to edbcomp@edb.gov.hk with your complaint & your return email address. If you would like a draft complaint form to use, please email schoolrefund@nzshk.org

Don’t forget, the NZ Society of HK is offering a free international school fee recovery service, to ensure that parents get their school refund cheques. See details here: www.nzshk.org/item/1265734
Contact: schoolrefund@nzshk.org for further details and any questions.
